Have you ever baked a pie to serve to guests? 

Have you ever dropped that pie on the floor at their feet?

It's a feeling, isn't it? A 'no-do-overs' feeling.

Instead of continuing to share old and tired work, I had prepared a few dozen illustrations and accidentally deleted them all. Yep, they're gone.

I will, at some point, hopefully soon, start over.

It takes me back to that Carob creme pie with fork-beaten whipped cream strewn across the linoleum and shoes...

I'm regrouping, since, this time, I don't have a dog to swoop in and clean up the mess. I miss the days when the only choice was analogue, and, of course, I miss my dog!
