27: amid the wonder

Dear Friend,

I’m sorry that I missed getting a letter out to you last week. Today’s letter will be short, but we hope that you enjoy, Northern Migration, a video that Frank put together celebrating our trips northward. Our dear friend, Troy Burns, created the music.

There is so much going on in the world. A lot of what is reported is not good, terrible at best, but I believe that each one of us is very capable of making a better day for ourselves and others, no matter who we are, regardless of the myriad of material&stuff&trappings that might abound and surround. Who are we when all of that stuff is removed?

Nature is raw and wild and can often seem harsh, but I think that nature is also an honest and healing place, a place to find peace amid the wonder of it all.
