We hope that you've been staying healthy and if you've been super busy, we hope that you also have had time to do fun stuff!

​

We're currently house/dog-sitting in Northern California. Autumn 2026 is here and with it, changes are abounding. It's not only in nature with the lowering of temperatures and growing piles of leaves, it's not just time to Harvest or time to prepare for upcoming floods, our society, our work-world, how we learn is changing, our electronic tools have new learning curves, there seems to be an overall shift in how we do or don't continue to hone our practiced skills sans Artificial Intelligence, and, to me, that particular shift feels sudden, though, I suppose, it's made a long, gradual landing. What are your thoughts along those lines?

 

I believe that human beings are still very capable of choosing to learn and practice skills and hopefully there will always be people who enjoy the idea of getting together to share their crafts, tell stories, make analogue music on handmade instruments, learn to build and create and nurture imagination and celebrate original ideas that can and will always make a positive difference within a community.
